2017 Exhibit Schedule

The Dancing Krow Studio

All exhibits are held on the Third Saturday of each month from 1-6 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

The Soap Box – The soap box is the conventional attribute of the archetypal street preacher, who would stand on one and say his “sermon.”   Art will be reflective of each artist’s  platform or position on some aspect of life. Each artist and/or guest will have the opportunity to stand on the box and explain his or her interpretation of his/her art piece, or a piece in the exhibit.

Un-Earthed - Art on things that have been searched for or discovered; a disconnect with the Earth; something found in the ground by digging.

Smoke & Mirrors – An idiom for a deceptive, fraudulent or insubstantial explanation or description. The source of the name is based on magicians’ illusions, where magicians make objects appear or disappear by extending or retracting mirrors amid a distracting burst of smoke.
